The Dakota Lodge was perfect for our quick overnight on the trip to see Badlands and other SD areas. While the property is older, it was very clean, and the staff was very helpful with our late check in. Iā€™d definitely stay here again for a clean an affordable place to lay my head in between destinations. The restaurant next door was a wonderful option for a delicious and hearty breakfast before getting back on the road.

I made the reservations 1/2 hour before arriving. The technology and the operators were not on the same page, but everything meshed out very well. The Lodge is from the 1950s with its own Quaint characteristics. Very well-maintained and very clean. I would stay there again

The hoel is in serious need of maintenance and updates. Grounds are unkept, exterior of entry area needs repair. Inside of room was outdated and lacked basics like functioning AC and coffee cups for the in-room coffee maker.
