The Little House Vientiane is a roastery, café, and souvenir shop beside Wat Si Muang. This charming venue roasts (and sells) coffee sourced from local farms on the Bolevan Plateau, particularly in Paksong.

The café is owned and operated by H.P.E. (Handicraft Promotion Enterprise), a local organisation that collaborates with ethnic groups in Laos. Surrounded by a lush garden, it feels more like a friend’s country cottage than a coffee shop.

The homey, rustic charm continues inside with large wicker sofas and shelves displaying handmade silk, embroidered bags, placemats, and pillow covers. Profits go straight to the indigenous tribes who created these items, so it’s worth picking up a few as souvenirs.

The café serves coffee with medium and dark roast beans sourced exclusively from the Bolaven Plateau. Enjoy handcrafted and full-bodied caffeine as lattes and mochas, together with your choice of pastries or cakes.

Thanks to its laidback setting, The Little House Vientiane attracts coffee lovers and those looking to sit back with a good book during their stay in the Lao capital.
