We had No Heat in our room! Cold wet Dec night & no heat.. nothing was done about it either!! You would think they would've tried to make it right somehow, but they did not! Had stayed here before & thought it was a suitable place to stay again, but not this time around!

Within walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg
My mom and I stayed here just to visit Colonial Williamsburg. It was the perfect fit for us! It was about a 15 min leisurely stroll from the hotel to Duke of Gloucester Street (the main drag). There is a sidewalk most of the way however, part of the sidewalk is on the side of the road going over a bridge, and there were two spots close together where you have to use a crosswalk. My mom and I felt perfectly safe walking to and from Duke of Gloucester St even at night, but the flashlight on my phone was definitely necessary at night. Also be aware that once you use both crosswalks there is a stretch of sidewalk with large tree roots so it will be difficult with a traditional stroller, and I’m not sure transportation for handicapped visitors will really work. As to the hotel: the lady who checked us in was very friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. They didn’t really have room service where you call the front desk and they bring you something, but there was a list of nearby restaurants to order from. The continental breakfast was quite lacking, but at least there was something. All in all, if you want a nicely priced place to stay for the night within walking distance of Colonial Williamsburg this is the place to stay. If you don’t mind driving (which would include paying for parking) and want to be at a nice hotel I would keep looking. My mom and I were happy I picked this hotel and plan staying here again the next time we want to visit Colonial Williamsburg.

It was fine
I’ve stayed here a few times. It’s not my number one location as it seems like there are people that live there, but it was adequate. I didn’t really trust the cleanliness of the unit and I didn’t like the shower or bathroom. The entire place could stand to have an update, but Other than that I didn’t have any problems. I did not see any bugs or dust or anything so egregious it would stop me from staying there again. It was fine. One last thing I didn’t like was the fact that the entire complex did not have the heat turned on so I had to go to the front desk and get a space heater. 😡

Terrible in almost every category
Room was freezing and they refused to turn on heat. It was warmer outside. We only stayed one night and had problems with the door key, the shower, the TV, ice machine was broken, and Continental breakfast was closed. Wifi was so slow it made internet completely unusable. Failed on almost every account. The room was cheap, and staff was friendly and room was clean at least, I'll give them that. My expectations were very low but they somehow still managed to disappoint me. Will not stay again.

Overall, it was a safe and uneventful stay. The only down side was that my room was incredibly cold. They provided a space heater but even then it was so uncomfortable. I had to sleep with my coat on it was so cold in my room. I am not sure I would stay here again. The woman who worked in the office was lovely. Not sure there was anything they could do about the cold room.

The location was great for visiting Colonial Williamsburg. It is a 10 minute walk to Christiana Campbell's Tavern. It is also right next to the Colonial Pancake House. The price was fantastic. It was $60 per night for a queen bed room. The woman behind the desk was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be that the breakfast that was included was lacking. It was from 8-10 am - we got there around 8:20 and there was only some toast and cereal left. But, we wanted to go to the pancake house anyway, so this was not a big deal. You are not going to get a better deal than this, and in a great location. We will be staying here every time we visit Williamsburg.

Hotel room is in need of deep renovation. The toliet got stopped up the first 30 minutes in the room. They only bought us a plunger. We had to unstop it ourselves. We were cold the first night because until we figured out the heating situation. Everything is well worn, including the linen and bedding. We stayed two day and they did not clean the room. On a bright note hey did have a proper Continental breakfast.

Stayed for 2 nights just for a quick weekend visit. No cleaning concerns. Room we stayed in was basic room. No fancy upgrades. We did not need extravagant. For the price it was very cozy. Mattresses were not the most comfortable for people with back issues. Employees were super nice and helpful

The room was fine. The continental breakfast was not much of anything and several guests opted to go elsewhere for breakfast. Tiny muffins, dry cereal, coffee and juice.
