The room was nice and clean. Didn’t realize the family room doesn’t have a bath tub so wasn’t very convenient for my child. Walls are not sound proof- we could hear the neighbors conversations. The hotel was close to Stanford Children’s Hospital , that was also convenient.

Great Motel minutes from Stanford
My wife and I stayed here before she had a medical procedure at Stanford. We were both surprised at how nice the room was given our previous stays at similar Motels. The room was super clean. The bed was a dream and both of us slept like logs. Our only complaint was that the TV was broken and was only setup to allow for us to use our own accounts for streaming services. Not a huge deal.

This property was clean and updated. Good value and close to restaurants on California Ave.
Only negative is that it is that the water temp is dangerously hot. I'm surprised if no one has scalded themselves. Was very tricky to get the shower to a comfortable, safe temp.
Otherwise, a good stay in a clean nice room.

There aren’t enough outlets or chargers for your electronic devices. No ice machine and the fridge is a dorm sized one that sat on the floor. The bed was comfortable and the maid came in every other day and refreshed our sheets and towels. They didn’t refill the coffee either.

We appreciated the gentleman at the front desk and the person who arranged for us to have earlier check- in time. The housekeeping woman was very friendly & helpful with our requests. The big drawback I experienced the second night was the paper-thin walls and the people next-door talking nonstop all night long until the morning. Either they were doing a training online or something else, but it was constant nonstop talking. I was recovering from an outpatient procedure @ Stanford. I slept well on the very comfortable mattress as did my sister on her bed, but whenever I woke up the endless chatter continued. If not for that I would have given ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

First time staying at this property and I was fairly impressed. It’s in a decent area of Palo Alto very quiet at night but did get loud in the morning when traffic started going. The check in process was very unique, I arrived around 11pm to the locked lobby with a phone number which I called and I was given a code to get inside and a few moments later was greeted by an employee on a kiosk which led me through the check in process. It was fast and easy. The room itself was clean and pretty spacious. The bathroom is small but clean, really like that the TVs are Roku so you could watch your streaming services. Only complaint was the bed and that’s mainly because of a personal preference the bed was very firm some might like that and some might not it’s really a person to person issue. Overall nice short 1 night stay, would stay again.

All the basics, but noisy
Leland Hotel uses a remote check-in system which is very cool, however the process felt longer than check-in usually does with a life representative. That said, the representative was so kind and made sure we had everything we needed to check-in.
Our room was quaint and clean. It had all the amenities we needed for a quick overnight trip.
The most disturbing part of our stay is the amount of sound that can be heard through the walls. We could clearly hear the conversations happening in the room next to us and I was very abruptly woken to the sound of loud banding on the walls and doors in the middle of the night. Very easy to hear street traffic and noises from the parking lot and balconies outside. They provide a noise machine but it didn’t help much. Lastly, the room safe did not have power and was inoperable.

Welcome staff was great. Breakfast was individual packaged oatmeal. Not spectacular. The made bed had somebody's hair in it. There was a sock below the chair. I can't say attention to detail was high on the list here. Standards need to be raised. Nice place to be, all the same.
