I really enjoyed my stay as a solo traveller. I felt safe in the hotel and the surrounding area, it’s also really convenient to walk to many of the key areas - Carmo Convent, Commercial square, Lisbon Cathedral and Castle. Rossio and Baxio-Chaido metro stations are walkable from the hotel. There are also many good restaurants and bars nearby the hotel. I also spent time in the bar with a book, it has a range of drinks and light snacks and it was a really good vibe with friendly staff.
The only drawback was on the housekeeping front - I would make sure to ask for your bed sheets to be changed as this didn’t happen at the specified timing, but the rest of the room was cleaned.
I also really appreciated the amenities - bottled water, kettle and cafetière, shampoo and conditioner (does not happen at every hotel) with body lotion and wash too. As someone with super long hair, the proper hairdryer made a difference too.
Overall, I would stay again at the hotel.
