Cost vs comfort and good service

I saw rats outside the property the rooms weren't the best. Our door wouldn't lock easily. But the room was clean and bed was comfortable. It would have been a horrible stay, however the customer service was the best. Their breakfast was good and they were refilling and cleaning on the spot. I rate this hotel a low 5 and the service a 10+. Their staff is Awesome!

Room was not cleaned one of the three days we stayed. Therefore, we had to request dry towels and the room amenities were not replenished. Therefore no cups, etc. Front desk service was very friendly and very helpful. Nice breakfast venue.

It was ridiculous. I came into a dirty room where the only thing clean presumably, was the the bed. There was pubic hair, dust, bugs that looked like they were stepped on and left , chips, paper, trash all on the floors and counters.

Bathroom wall painting was very amateurish. Edges of room missing paint. Toilet paper was “see through” quality. Floor was filthy in main room. Granddaughter had white socks on. 5-10 seconds they were black/gray. Door to room had to be rammed opened and closed. Curtains had to be closed using a chip clip. Would not stay shut. Heater/Airconditioner had buttons and labels missing. Unbelievable old looking

Hotel before cruise out of Long Beach

Was good for what we needed - a quick overnight before catching a cruise out of Long Beach terminal. Bonus is you can do extended parking - we don't use this service because we wanted to get on the road straight from ship as we had a 14hr drive ahead of us, but if we had more time, it would have saved us more than 50% to do extended stay parking and take the hotel shuttle to/from port. Desk team was helpful and room clean. No elevator, buy they gave us a first floor room so not an issue, just be aware. Overall it was good for the price. Only knock is they don't have extended times for breakfast on weekends, but it was a good stay.
