Decent room but lacking dishes and adequate kitchen equipment. Clean and convenient. Sadly, the pool was ICE COLD and the hot tub had so much chlorine my eyes were burning and I had to leave right away.

We've stayed here before. We like it. The restaurant next door is usually good. Our TV remote didn't work this time and my wife was hoping to watch NFL football from our room. We were promised a solution but that never came. We would stay here again but would be more insistent that things, like the TV, work as advertised.

The stay was okay. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hot tub was very chlorinated and needed to be warmer. The breakfast was okay but maybe some oatmeal and berries. A few more healthy choices. The hedge on the left of the front door on 18th should be cut. Difficult to see when turning right. Thank you. Otherwise a great place to stay.

Hotel and rooms are dated. Location is close to a number of amenities and the highway. The complimentary breakfast wasn’t worth serving and should be advertised as a cold continental breakfast. We ended up going to McDonald’s. Restaurant beside hotel served good food for dinner.

Checkin took over 30 minutes and we weren’t even acknowledged. Waited to sort out a group of workers at did not book their room properly. Coffee machine in the room did not work - reported but no maintenance for 2 days in a 3 day stay - still did not work. On 3rd day, returning to hotel at night, keys were disabled. Systems issues were claimed. Room above was constantly noisy (footsteps, items dropped…) both at night and early morning. Too few towels and no housekeeping service. Generally outdated, terribly overpriced. Completely unhealthy breakfast - just came from a Super 8 in Alberta and breakfast was good. Cable TV provided absolutely no channels to watch. Definitely not a $200/night stay. Garbage!!! We have family in Castlegar but won’t be held hostage to this hotel on our next visit or ever!!! It was like they were trying to get away with the worst possible service until challenged on it! (And even then promises were not delivered) Guessing cheap owners!
