Hotel Lombardy, Washington

The hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly and courteous. The room was a decent size and the bed was quite comfortable. The room was a bit dark, given the close proximity of the next door building to the window in my room. However, this is a minor issue and nothing that would discourage me from staying again. I was staying for business, so the hotel was in a great location for my purposes. Even as a tourist, the location is decent since it is relatively close to a metro station and public transit. It is also within walking distance of the major sites, including the White House, Washington Monument, and National Mall. Overall, I enjoyed my stay!

First timer’s to D.C. This is a great location, close to everything, either by metro or walking. Staff are welcoming and knowledgeable. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant several times (very good food and service) and thoroughly enjoyed the lounge (thank you, Nathan). Enjoyed so much, that we are staying another night before heading home. Now that’s a recommendation!

It was great, the beds were cozy, the room had a little alcove with a small kitchen, the closet had robes, the soaps were delightful. The historic building was luxurious and the staff was very polite and service oriented. The restaurant was about the same price as everywhere else in DC and the food was abundant.

My stay here was very good. We went on a Saturday night and checked out Sunday. Valet parking is about $52; deposit on card for accidentals is $70. I did not use valet, I parked on the street which is free after 10 pm on Saturday nights. The bar and restaurant inside closed around 10:30 pm. Food was very expensive for the taste of it. A can soda was $3.50. There are no vending machines or ice machines, you have to ask the people at the cafe or bar. My room was beautiful! Very roomy, Very comfy. They did have a mini fridge in there that is stocked with drinks and alcohol (expensive prices, but convenient i guess). There was no microwave in the room. Everywhere (restaurants) around the hotel I feel like they closed super early (10 pm), especially for the DC night life. The staff was extra nice and helpful.

We love the Hotel Lombardy! The location is perfect for GW families as it is practically right on campus. The staff is very helpful and welcoming.

The check in and out process was easy. This is a historical hotel. The staff was easy to work with and efficient.

Excellent location, great service-feels comfy and safe. I’ll be back...

The actual property was great. Only issue was a construction site across the street brought in a lot of noise at all hours of the night.
