Awesome 2-night stay but not perfection
The less than ideal: location is a good 10-12 min from town's attractions / restaurants etc. Walk can be tough on cobblestone and poorly lit streets. Hotel desperately needs a bellhop service. Rooms that DON'T face the patio have a crappy view. Bar/restaurant could be open a bit longer at night. Positives: Amazing staff (helpful to a fault)! Stunning pool, grounds and courtyard kept super clean. El Tequileno is a primo tequila brand that can be toured and tasted and taken home. Breakfast and drinks were on point (get your cantarito and batangas here instead of in town).

Beautiful hotel.
Exceeded our expectations. Restaurant food was amazing and not as expensive as we expected. Our 3rd visit to Tequila and our best. Got the chance to introduce my wife to Canteritos.el Guerro. We had a blast there with the live non stop music playing everywhere. The Canteritos were the bomb and definitely with taking a video of the blending process.

Beautiful landscape
The entrance is kind of tricky in a very dusty road, where you have to ring a bell for them to open a door. The parking is inside a Tequila factory next door, we love the agave smell. The rooms are nice and the food was good. The staff needs training ( to answer questions about the area, the menu , ect…)

Just a head ups there will be a funky smell coming from next door tequila distillery. It will last for 3-5 minutes but it will go away. Other than that everything was amazing.

I had looked at photos of the property and rooms when booking. Your hotel and grounds, especially the pool and gardens, and our room, were even better than expected. Plus your staff was a Grade A. Casa Salles was AMAZING! Very beautiful & clean and the staff was so amazing! Absolutely recommend. Its distance to the Pueblo was a bit of a small 5-7 min drive but also allowed the stay there to feel like an oasis so we didn’t mind. 10/10 would stay again!
