Great hotel in downtown

We found the Wayfarer last minute after having a horrible experience at a run-down hotel nearby. Thankfully there was availability for the nights we were in town and the rates were comparable to others in the area. The prices on Hotels.com were cheaper than booking directly through the hotel. They would not match the prices so we stood at the front desk and booked via Hotels.com and then checked in immediately. The hotel was well-maintained and the room and common areas were clean. Everything appeared to be new and nothing felt like we were at some gross hotel. Breakfast is included with your stay up to $25 if I remember correctly. The food was good and consistent each morning. The bar downstairs is AWESOME. Highly recommend visiting if you have a chance. The only downside to the hotel is that late at night there is some weird activity going on in the lobby sometimes. One night there was someone filming a rap music video in the lobby and the overnight staff was clearly involved and not attentive to guests. The vibes were always off when we were down in the lobby at night. However, the daytime staff was very friendly and approachable during normal business hours.
