The room was cold. Even though we pushed the thermostat up to 72 , the room was 69 this morning. Small room. Paid for a queen bed that was more like a full bed. Checking out, I was told there is very little difference between a full and queen.

Classy and classic historic hotel with very friendly staff. I love having my dog with me and I was able to have a cocktail with him on the veranda. My stay was simply a lovely experience.

We have wanted to stay at the Boone Tavern for a long time. The historic charm of the building was fantastic! Food was excellent. The only negative aspect was that the full size mattress was very uncomfortable and we tossed and turned all night.
