Good hotel next to the train.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night because it was next to the train station as we took an early morning train to the Rome airport. The room was large, clean and very comfortable bed and pillows. The gentleman at the check in counter was very nice. Check in was quick and easy. It was a 2 minute walk to the train station, it’s literally to the right when you walk outside the hotel. If you are looking for a nice clean comfortable room. Next to the train station this place is great. I would recommend taking the train to the airport if you are needing to get there. It’s fast and easy an drops you right in the airport. It’s cost 14€ a person runs every 30 minutes. Takes 40 minutes to get there. A taxi will take 45 to an an 1 hour and 15 depending on traffic. And cost 50-60€. Also it had breakfast included which was nice and ran from 630am -1030am. The only thing I didn’t like was the area around the hotel was run down which is expected around a train station.

An affordable compromise.
Modern, renovated hotel with comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful. Termini area may not be the most beautiful part of Rome but it is very convenient for bus and subway access to go to all major attractions within 10-15 minutes. Airport shuttle for 7 euros or the train for 14 euros just 2 minutes walk from hotel. The breakfast is fine to get you started with nice coffee machine for espresso , cappuccino, etc. We really enjoyed our stay!

A very pleasant 5 night stay close to Termini
This was our first stay at Hotel Gioberti. We stay at a hotel near the Termini, every year, in the fall. Our room, on the 5th floor, was very clean and quiet. The front desk personnel, spoke excellent English and were extremely helpful. The breakfast buffet, that was included, was very ample. The hotel is located less than one block from the Termini, so access to the trains, Metro and bus system, is exceptionally good. This is especially good, if you plan to use the train or bus to go to, or from, the airport. Two of our favourite restaurants in Rome, Leonetti’s and Elekktra’s, are only short walks away. We were pleased with our stay.
