Wall is pretty thin, noise from other rooms came thru pretty easy. Otherwise all good!

Uncomfortable, outdated.
Unfortunately will not be going back to the CG. The mattresses and pillows are uncomfortable and in desperate need of updating (my colleague had a "king" bed that consisted of two, unevenly soft/firm twin mattresses pushed together); the windows are extremely drafty making my room constantly cold; suite 204 overlooks I Avenue and sounds like you're sleeping right above traffic...A good night's sleep is worth a few bucks more, especially if visiting for work and you need to be well rested.

very basic hotel
The room (411) was so tiny, that you could not get to another side of the bed. Walls are so thin, that we clearly heard a conversation from the room beside us. Windows also are not soundproof. bedding is ok, pillows are not good at all. Hotel is outdated and very basic. Location is great

Vacation in Washington DC
Awesome location and a nice hotel .. Right on top s metro station and very conveniently located. Free coffee and snacks are available. I only complaint have is the bed it was not according to my liking and there should be additional pillows in the room. Overall a good hotel

not the best
-room door was too close to adjacent room door, making constant noise when neighbor was going in and out of his/her room. Was very disruptive during sleep. -hot water that ran through the coffee machine in room altered taste of coffee and tea. -washroom very small, with awkward toilet location. -Room 1013 windows were in front of adjacent office building windows. They could literally look into the room, so I had to keep curtains shut all day long, for privacy and could not let natural light in. -I was told I'd have a king sized bed. It was actually composed of two single mattresses (kind of lame).

Its a great experience.
They were very obliging to my needs and let me check in early and out late for free. Great location also.

No sleep until 2:30 am because of nearby nightclub
A nightclub about a block and a half away played loud music until 2:30 a.m. Could hear what the deejay was saying in my room. Front desk said they would ask them to turn it down (so apparently I wasn't first to complain), but night club did not, in apparent violation of the noise ordinance. Staff very friendly and professional but hotel needs to get the nightclub shut down. After two nights of this, I gave up and booked another hotel. The hotel management never got back to me about refund in spite of repeated inquiries. One expects sirens and general noise in a large city, but not a nightclub you can hear in your room at 2:15 am on a Monday night. Not a good match for a business trip. Also, the superior bedding turned out to be two mattresses pushed together under a single sheet so that one tended to fall in between them (see photo)--I would have disregarded that if not for the other issues. They did provide a certificate for a free weekend night at another of their properties, but was printed with same issue and expiration date. Will be avoiding this chain in the future.
