perfect for family time
Family get together. Location was perfect for part of the family with limit to walking distance. George Checked us in and made us feel welcomed, and it was a surprise birthday party and able to make the room cute prior arriving. We had a heat issue and they addressed it quickly and made a room change easy. Those who tended our rooms where absolutely awesome, excellent customer service. Food was great, the lounge quint, and the casino area clean. My sister meet the owner of El Cortez' for the grand opening of a restaurant. Security was like family, great laughs. The best was meeting the cocktail waitress who started there when she was 26 years old. She is not only in her 80's and the longest employee, she is beautiful inside and out, what a wonderful lady. I wished I had taken a picture with her and got her name. Over all it was awesome.
I did drop a point here and there because you can see the newly painted rooms, but the baseboards were in much need of cleaning. The elevator... suggestion would be to power wash walks ways, walking is Vegas is dirty. Just on the carpet wear slippers or such. I went next door barefoot, don't do that. Socks on in room not so good. Overall the room felt and looked clean, its just all that walking in and out. I would love to have had some water pressure, that was the worse shower pressure ever, took longer to get clean waiting on water to work its way around the body. Got power washed in Manhattan in five min.so plan 20min. Fri. nite music loud
