Something for everyone, you WILL LOVE IT!
We LOVE Summer bay! So much so that we have stayed here for almost every vacation in Orlando for the last 7/8 yrs. We have also had 3 other families/friends fall in love with this place after we've recommended it to them!! Overall, staff are amazing and friendly. The amenities are fabulous, with I think 6 or 7 pools on site as well as a water park, free mini golf, sports court and free sports equipment rentals as well as multiple movies a day in their theater and crafts/activities daily! The properties are in good condition, and clean. The property this stay could use a carpet shampoo, and doors and baseboards could be cleaned better. But nothing gross. There's a restaurant and bar on site, and two grocery stores within walking distance. This place is easy to occupy kids for a couple days without leaving if you really wanted!! You truly can't beat the price for what you get!

My key didn’t work and had to wait about 30 minutes for resolution. Other than that it was ok. The space was rather small and the bed was hard. Also both TVs were very small - a little bigger than a laptop.

Good but needs better cleaning.
Check in was easy, rooms were nice and comfortable. The bathroom need cleaned better, the shower had what looked like a dark reddish fluid on the upper left of the master shower and the edging around the mirrors were unkept. Only one of 3 TV’s worked properly.

BAD NEWS Club 601
We always try to go to Summer Bay for our vacations. The ONLY disappointment is Club 601 CONSTANTLY closing early. What is the sense of a New Years vacation or Christmas vacation if you cannot enjoy one of your most beautiful features. My God, she barely put the beer down and I had a tab at 7pm!?!?!?!?

Nice Place, Would Stay Again if Need a Condo Again
Our stay was very good. The 1 bedroom condo with queen sofa bed was very clean and exactly as pictured. The check-in process was quick and the staff was very nice and helpful. We had to see the concierge who talked to us about attending their 90 minute presentation. We did sign up for it, but only so we could get the $200 gift card. We had no intention of buying into a timeshare or whatever it was they would have tried to get us to buy. We cancelled later. We had to have maintenance come the first evening because the toilet was clogged. Then the next morning the same thing happened and they came again and used the snake to clear whatever the clog was. We had no further trouble with it. Then on the second night the sofa bed broke while we were all sitting on it. There evidently had been quite a few screws loose. Fortunately no one got hurt. My adult son just slept on the sofa without pulling the bed out. The next morning we went down to the desk and told them about it. Someone came and fixed it. We had no further problems the rest of our stay. I will say they were quick to send someone to fix our problems and they were all taken care of. They did offer to move us to another unit, but we didn't want to pack up everything to do that. The king bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. The place was quiet and conveniently located to Disney. And it was only 1-2 miles away from where our daughter lives. The kitchen was equipped with some cookware and place settings for 4 people.
