We flew into Salmon for a guided river/white water rafting trip. The hotel management voluntarily sent a truck to pick us and our gear up. Took us to another hotel for our orientation briefing. Came back and brought us to our rooms. Our stay was short but memorable. Room was clean and comfortable.

The on-site manager needs a raise. I would say she is solely responsible for getting the absolute best out of what she has to work with. She is very welcoming and will do whatever is necessary to improve your stay. It is apparent the property is making improvements and updates, but it is still rather old. Despite that, the two rooms that I rented were absolutely spotless and the beds were very comfortable.

Not as described. The room smelled and I was told at check in by the clerk that the tub doesn’t drain but unfortunately that the only room they had. I called the office and told them I wanted to cancel. She then said she could upgrade us, but earlier that was the only room. I told her I was going to another hotel. She said they would contact the owner and issue a refund. When I followed up on the refund a few days later they then said it wasn’t refundable.

The inside of the room was clean and the bed was comfortable and the staff was great, easy checkin. The outside area and property are a bit rundown and not so attractive.
