We loved the hotel itself but the bed and pillows could use an update. Also the ventilation in the room wasn't the best. It was a fantastic location, we loved the coffee and pool.

Magical
I do a lot of travelling and aside from the coffee in restaurant this is a standout hotel. The Colonial architecture is magical, it’s like Living in an apartment block . Basically a square donut with a table and chairs outside your room. Guadalajara is worth at least 3 days.

Beautiful hotel with easy walking to old town sites. The staff was fantastic and incredibly helpful with making arrangements for dinner reservations and transport to Tequila and back. Jose was the best and made our trip perfect. Denise was also very helpful. Would absolutely stay here again

We had 5 rooms for 10 seniors booked at Hotel Morales for 5 nights. Hotel Morales, you did not disappoint! Beautifully appointed rooms ( ask for a balcony) room 216 and 217 have 2 balconies each, just saying. The rooms were spotless and our dining experience was fabulous. The breakfast is incredible. Javier, Felipe and ALL the dining staff- great job. Special shout-out to Veronica from house keeping. She always has a big smile and worked tirelessly looking after rooms. The Day of the Dead decorations were amazing.

Hotel Morales, in a word, Charming!
The Hotel Morales, in a word, Charming! From start to finish our experience was wonderful. The entire staff went above and beyond to assure our stay was first class. Airport pick up/drop off, front desk, maintenance, housekeeping, and security were amazing. We stayed for 6 nights and were treated like family. Thank you Hotel Morales for a memorable visit to Guadalajara! Sincerely, Patrick & Socorro M.

Great Historic Hotel in Center of GDL
Hotel Morales is centrally located in downtown GDL. The hotel is a historic building near the city center. You can easily walk to allot of attractions downdown and also walk to the nearby metro station (3 blocks away). This makes it super easy to get around and see the sights or jump on the metro and head over to Zapopan for a day of sightseeing and shopping. The neighborhood can be rough at night, but I usually use uber to get around and isn't an issue. There is also a famous mexican restaurant called "La Chata" about 2 blocks away. If you want some authentic mexican food I recommend stopping by this place.
