Was a really great stay , staff , excellent , food was really nice . Only downside was the deco , really needs carpets or laminate flooring , been a long time since I have stayed in a hotel with carpet in bathroom . Stayed 2 nights , both mornings got woke up 5 am with the linen truck outside my window .

Our room number 5 was paint peeling off the wall scabs peeling off, plaster exposed & very dated, was told we couldn’t use the pool due to reaching its capacity, after explaining we had meal booked at a restaurant ‘ had little time we were allowed in to see 7/8 people in a pool, it wasn’t near its capacity.

We loved the pool and spa area and the staff were really friendly and helpful. The decor is somewhat tired but we did have a nice bright room with opening windows and adjustable radiators, which is always a plus. The breakfast was dull, basic bread, all the hot dishes precooked and sitting on top of heaters, lukewarm. The coffee was ok. It would have been lovely to have some local produce, real bread rolls etc.
