This is a new hotel in a very convenient location, close to the Tenmonkan area. The lobby is spacious, and so are the guest rooms. I had a room with a mountain view—you can sort of see Sakurajima from there, but the best view is from the breakfast floor. They offer a nice selection at breakfast, and some seats let you enjoy your meal while taking in the view of Sakurajima. The only minor drawback is that the parking lot is not directly at the hotel, but overall, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

We loved the location of the hotel. It was within the shopping mall which was convenient. We also recieved a discount for using the parking lot for 2days which was helpful. The staff were very kind. Only small flaw was that the rooms were a bit smaller than expected but workable.

Massive lobby, but a little vacuous, not sure why the lobby is so huge. The room was spacious and a large comfortable bathroom however the room was extremely bland in design. Well located in an area with many shops and restaurants. Located next to a tram line - it's not located at the Shinkansen station - you will likely need to take a taxi if you have luggage. Otherwise the tram can take you between the station and hotel. You can also walk to the ferry terminal for Sakurajima (~20min walk). We booked a room specifically as it was a Sakurajima view room. You should note that the room is not facing directly at Sakurajima - you need to be standing at the window and look to the left. The window also has a wire mesh across it so it's not a fully clear view. If the view of Sakurajima is important for you, then it may not be worthwhile booking the Sakurajima view room.
