People are abrupt and rude... especially front desk. No working USB ports and some outlets and lights not working. Contact front desk and they aren’t bothered. Oh .. when you call desk they couldn’t hear me had to me call back. $23 valet parking or meter or down the block. Worst part... the front desk . Don’t do it

Beautiful old hotel, located in the historic area of town. Service was great, very friendly.

There was no parking, no microwave or fridge in the room, and no coffee creamer at breakfast. When we asked about coffee creamer the lady was rude and said “we’re out“. The room was clean and fairly comfortable.

COVID travel-King suite was very spacious. A bit worn out but Looks exactly like the photo. Definitely needs a bathroom upgrade. Incredible front desk staff. Very friendly and helpful. Building was giving off that historical vibe but seemed a bit run down. Ice machines were out of repair on several floors. Food service was limited in the neighborhood. Seems like it could be a very fun and lively place in better times or better weather. Full of important Civil Rights monuments and museums (although closed).

Room was clean. Hallway had a odor and attendant went up and sprayed. Parking was another story. Did not feel comfortable, dark and people were hanging around and they were smoking marijuana. Light in the bathroom keep blinking all night and the room had outside lights that were right beside the window. Grab and go breakfast was a joke. Fresh fruit would have been nice. For the price I have stayed at other locations that were cheaper and for less.

I booked a room with 2 queen beds, but at check-in we were assigned a room with 1 king bed. Rep said no double queens were available. When we got to the room, the door was cracked open such that anyone could have entered without a key. Fortunately, the room was found to be clean and orderly. Then we realized that the room was hot . . . because the hotel had shut off the A/C in this 6th floor room. We turned on the A/C and put the fan on high, but it took 3 hours for the room to get comfortable. Apart from these things, it was a good one-night stay.

The stay was great, the room looked exactly how the photos showed it to be. Only problem is the shower door handle needs to be fixed.
