nightmare stay made right
We were evacuated on day 2 of a 3 night stay because of a carbon monoxide leak. I thought I would have to battle for a refund of the 3rd night, but they actually refunded all 3 already! I am a little concerned that they didn't have any carbon monoxide detection alarms, but we were fine.

Much need attention needed
Front desk should have some knowledge of places to eat in the area. The first thing we smelled was feces. we went to Walmart to buy freshener and opened the window. White stain on the couch, toilet paper holder sitting on counter, chair completely worn out,room keys stopped working, there was no one at desk to fix the problem because they were at the airport picking up other guests.We were not happy after being out all day and just wanted to go to our room.

This is definitely one of the worst hotels we have stayed at. The young man at the hotel counter at night was not helpful and gave me a hard time checking in because the room was reserved under my husband's name. Finally, I was able to check in. Then after a couple of hours I noticed that my air conditioner was not working properly, so again I went to the lobby to ask for another room. The young man told me they had no rooms available. I asked for Maintenace to go check the air conditioner and he proceeded to let me know that it was late, and no one was there for Maintenace. I then asked for him to call his manager and once again he said it was 10:00 pm and it was too late to call his manager. After arguing with him that I am a paying customer, he called his manager and the problem was resolved. Too much aggravation to ever stay here again. DO BETTER COMFORT INN.

Why is this rated so well?
Pros -Large rooms -Very good breakfast Cons -Front desk associate wasn't exactly friendly -It took several minutes of running the water until it came up to full temperature. This process had to be repeated any time hot water was needed. What a waste of water! Why is there not a circulating loop?? -Rooms are dingy -Sickly colored lighting and not much of it -Dirty light switches, couch, toilet, curtains -Tub porcelain was damaged resulting in rust stains -Wall mounted thermostat didn't seem to work. The thermostat on the unit did except it refused to keep the fan on continuously as requested -An adjacent rooms alarm clock went off for 30+ minutes in the middle of the night. While this may be no fault of the hotels, I have reasons to believe otherwise. I never heard anyone in an adjacent unit and my room's alarm clock was off by 15 hrs indicating they aren't maintained.
