Stayed here previously and service is fantastic. A bit of let down as one of the basin in the bathroom was blocked and fuse blew as soon as we turned the jacuzzi on. I was told the following morning that we could have called an after hours for urgent assistance, but it was a too much of a hassle for someone to visit late at night. The front person was very apologetic, luckily we had the fire going so it was warm enough for the night! Very comfortable place to stay. Will stay again in the future.

The stay at Braemar lodge was incredible. The views from the superior suite were amazing, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was immaculate, so spacious. I would highly recommend!

The lodge is set on a low hill in the countryside a few kilometers outside Hanmer Springs and the views from the units are incredible. The suite itself was spacious, immaculately clean, and a gorgeous open layout. There is no kitchen and the on-site restaurant is only open at select times, so you'll need to venture into Hanmer Springs for some of your meals. The check-in was simple and smooth, and the Tharindu (Front Office Manager) was friendly and accommodating. Hanmer Springs itself is great for a two (maybe three) day stay, with hot and cold pools, so everything for the family. Hanmer Springs golf course is a challenging par 68 with a couple of memorable holes. All in all, if you're heading for this part of New Zealand Braemar Lodge is a sure bet. Request a room on the upper floor if you want the best view.

The food was phenomenal. My massage made me feel like a new man, Jana was amazing. There some corners here and there that need touching up. Reception was very welcoming, listened well to my concerns, and dealt with them appropriately.

Only stayed one night. Lovely facilities and a quiet location. It is a short drive to Hammer township. There is a restaurant onsite although we didn't eat there. Room was very comfortable, and clean.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the breathtaking view—it was truly the highlight of our trip. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special, offering warm and welcoming service throughout our stay. The thoughtful little touches really made the experience unforgettable, such as the adorable dog bed and bowl for our furry friend, and the romantic swan-shaped towels with rose petals scattered across the bed to celebrate our honeymoon. Every detail was perfect, and we couldn't have asked for a more memorable getaway. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for an exceptional and personalized experience!
