Fantastic hotel
Hotel was in the perfect location, right on the beach. Staff were so friendly and helpful and a good choice of on site restaurants. The room was spacious and bathroom was also a good size. We had access to the Club lounge that was very handy offering a good range of breakfast, lunch and evening food and beverages.

Der Aufenthalt war perfekt. Das Hotel ist sehr kinderfreundlich ausser in den Restaurants läuft zu laute Musik und ist sehr dunkel für Babys. Die Lage ist wundervoll man kann der Promenade entlang gehen oder erreicht alles super schnell. Würde das Hotel nur empfehle.

Unethical practices Marriot Palm Resort Jumeirah
Upon arrival, the hotel was fully booked, and we were forced to accept category rooms that we had neither booked nor requested. After discussing the situation for several hours, we finally accepted due to the pressure and exhaustion, as we were traveling with four small children (a baby and three children aged 2, 4, and 5 years old). At no point was any compensation offered for this inconvenience, which is standard practice in many hotels when such errors occur, especially considering we were staying in three rooms for 7 nights. The hotel offers no beach service, which was extremely frustrating. If we wanted water or any other service, we were told to go to the pool to fetch it or to wait 1 to 2 hours. Additionally, we were forced to lunch at the hotel restaurants, as no service was provided at the beach. The beach is also separated by a pedestrian street, which is frequently used by vehicles and buggies, making it a safety concern for those traveling with small children. We attempted to request recommendations for activities in Dubai, but the concierge was unable to assist us as the hotel has an in-house excursion company and cannot offer alternatives. This lack of flexibility and service was disappointing, as we expected a more professional and personalized experience. Basic amenities & service In summary, our experience was highly negative, and I would not recommend this hotel to other families, especially those with young children. There are many other options in Dubai.

Stayed in Dubai on several occasions and always find the hotels great and this was no exception. Hotel inside and out is spotless and the staff can’t do enough for you. If you’re looking for a quiet relaxing high end holiday I would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you want a little more life then maybe stay in the Hilton next door, pretty much an identical hotel but with a sports bar and other entertainment to which the Marriott has very little, this isn’t a negative at all and doesn’t detract from the hotel at all

I recently stayed at the Marriott Jumeirah West Palm in Dubai, and while the hotel itself is beautiful and the service is friendly, the room’s maintenance and attention to detail fell short of expectations. The most important aspect of any room for me is a well-functioning air conditioner, and unfortunately, the unit in my room was inadequate. It struggled to keep the room cool during the day and was barely sufficient at night. The thermostat was outdated compared to the rest of the room, indicating it hadn’t been renovated in quite some time. Despite the room’s grand appearance, several features were not functioning properly. The bidet hose had an issue with excessively hot water, making it uncomfortable to use, and unfortunately, it couldn’t be adjusted even after a technician’s visit. The Wi-Fi was weak, the bathroom lacked conditioner (which we had to request), and a piece of the shower was broken and loose. The haridryer did not have a compatible socket in the bathroom so it had to be used in the coffee/kitchen area. The door lock and balcony light also did not work, and despite requesting housekeeping before leaving for six hours, the room was not attended to. Additionally, there was insufficient toilet paper provided. These issues detracted from what could have been a great stay. As a Bonvoy member, I was especially disappointed, given my loyalty to the brand. I hope these concerns are addressed for future guests.”
