Avoid
After booking are directed to external website, and have to enter ALL your details there incl pictures of passport .Then you are directed to 'Wompi' website to pay! And have to enter all your details again + Credit card numbers .upon completion you may be surprised to learn price has gone up significantly
You will receive code to enter building and have to get key from difficult to open key safe ,because there is no security or reception on site
Then you finally in room and may be surprised to see is very different to what you booked .my room had 1 window only, which is next to constantly on washing machines and staff smoking area (see pic)
Also surprised to find a dog bowl and hairs in kitchen (see pic)
Door has no lock on inside (see pic)
Room cold ,not certain if Aircon works or not .Internet good .
After all this is no way to contact owners so had to complain to Hotels.com who kindly gave me WhatsApp.
Owner eventually replied and I told them wanted out as not what I booked or paid for !! Owner uninterested and only says ' no refunds'! Before trying to upsell me a different room ,presumably the one I originally booked
I spoke to a guest who says she had nice room , but had issues with communication , integrity of personal data and payments , difficulty with key safes and lack of security
Is so many wonderful great value appartments and hotels in Bogotá,staffed by such nice warm helpful people it seems a crime to give so much money to this lot .
