Staff friendly and welcoming, room was just as we had expected compact but had all we needed, was clean and comfortable would have no hesitation in booking again, very convenient location for the Theatres and close to public transport so worked really well for us

Air con was broke in the room and it was very cold. Reported this to reception but was told it was broken in all rooms. I have stayed there before and will stay again but this was a very uncomfortable night in a very cold room

Smooth stay at the Z hotel city. Nice neighbourhood, easy check in and out proces, well-equiped room albeit very tiny. Areas for improvement: a few things worn (notably the curtain), and too few places to hang towels.

The room was tiny but totally fine for my purposes - I was just in London for two nights on a brief solo business trip visiting universities in the area. It was a fine place to sleep deeply and have a nice hot shower and I did buy the breakfast the first morning to power me up for my long day. A perfectly suitable little hotel after my long transatlantic flight!

The first room we got was so damp and smelled so damp, and the A/C wasn’t working, so they moved us to a different room the next day and gave us a complimentary breakfast which was nice.
The next room was equally damp, and smelled equally as bad, but at least the A/C was working. Both rooms were in the basement, so there it wasn’t possible to open a window and get fresh air in….
The rooms were dirty, and there was mold in the bathrooms. The fans in the bathrooms weren’t working either, so after a shower the room was so damp, and no way to air out…
Overall the stay wasn’t very good, and the best part was checking out.

Single room is tiny, but if you're not planning on spending time there it's got a comfy bed and a/c. Nice that it has a lift and a cafe attached for quick coffee or food
