The cottage is quintessential Cotswolds -- great place to stay with a family of four. Despite being a cottage, there was plenty of space for four w a lot of luggage. Very walkable with a beautiful ancient church at the end of the lane and good restaurants (Chequers is my favorite) a few minutes away. Parking is super easy with street parking on the lane itself (limited), main road 50 feet away (some), and long-term car park 200 feet away (a lot of spaces). We used Chipping Norton as a base for the British Grand Prix weekend and Oxford, and it worked great. Laundry facility was great (it washes and dries, too) and communication with the property manager was super easy, as was checking in and checking out. Nice and friendly neighbors, too.
