Oct 29, 2026An amazing first time at Dakota Newcastle. Parking was easy, although the 10p additional booking fee seems a bit cheeky. Reception was great. The staff were polite and courteous. The room was fantastic, with probably the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in. A very spacious and well equipped bathroom. All in an excellent stay.

Oct 21, 2026The hotel decor is beautiful, the staff are so helpful and friendly. We had a king room with a view, which was a great size, room amenities perfect and view of the bridge. It really does have special feel to it.
I would love to come back and use the hotel again, however I didn't feel that the quality of the bed linen and pillows matched that of the hotel, they are quite scratchy and pillows completely flat, I didn't get a great night's sleep, obviously making it a hard decision as to whether to try another hotel on our return.
I can say, the restaurant food is absolutely fantastic, steak cooked to perfection, starter and desert also delicious!
