It’s a nice hotel but hard to park - the car park is now a construction zone making access difficult and undercover parking is limited with lift for only small cars - my suv was too big. They still charged me even though I had to park in their driveway which was a joke as the area more a footpath and not even owned by them. Restaurant not open during the week either. Rooms smaller than most but still comfortable. Staff were great but limited offerings

Car parking available means Valet park only for $35 per night. Soap dispenser empty in bathroom. Building going on right next door - trucks moving at 5.30am, can’t open anything because of noise and dust - should be some information regarding this when you book. Otherwise the rooms are well equipped, clean and comfortable.

Room was amazing, clean, full kitchen and I loved the shower. Bed was great, super comfy and the room had a balcony. I must say, this is the best room I have stayed in when I am in the Gold Coast. It has all you need, great restaurants if you don't want to cook, full kitchen in your room if you do want to just relax in your room and still eat a decent meal that you can cook yourself, how does it get any better than that? It kinda doesn't really. I travel a lot, this hotel is now top of my go to list. Amazing staff, great restaurants, the pizza and salad, from Rossa restaurant was amazing, I don't even like pizza, but I was hungry and options at my arrival time were limited. I might like pizza now though, it was fresh, simple ingredients and just absolutely perfect. I want to return again just to order another pizza! Beautifully designed, I walked into the lobby and just thought wow this is beautiful and relaxing, after a long day I am so happy this is where I got to end my day. I highly recommend all visitors to book your next stay here I honestly believe you will not be disappointed.

Great overall, but needs a few tweaks

The room itself was great, as was the location in regards to the event we were attending. It was clean, well equipped, spacious and quiet at night. However, I tried many times in the lead up to our stay to enquire about parking, but never received an answer and eventually gave up. We also ended up having to cancel one night of our trip and this process was not easy. It took several days with plenty of emails and chats. Then once we checked in the front desk still wasn't aware of our changes. It all worked out in the end, but it was a bit of a headache. I also thought it was silly of them to only have one person manning the front desk at checkout time (9:45am). There was a large wait and we ended up late to an appointment. Finally - the restaurant downstairs seemed really nice. We didn't eat there, but walked through more than once. They had a musician playing while people were eating and the volume of his music was so loud people had to shout to have a conversation. I've been at other places like this and hated it. Some quiet background music is great. Very loud music - no matter the type of music - makes it too difficult to have a conversation with the people you're dining with.

We stayed for only one night. When we arrived and checked in, there were a few issues with the parking. Later that night, when we returned to the hotel, we experienced another parking issue. Did a late-check in which was difficult to organise on the day (search for the hotel for contact details, the number on Expedia just rings out) however after-hours security can get you in with booking number, ID and credit card ($200 deposit). 2-ply toilet paper was really disappointing after the impression the lobby made. Short walk from public transport and amenities. Would recommend if this was cheaper than the $230ish we paid p/night.
