The front desk staff was very unfriendly, almost hostile, and not very helpful. They acted like they were doing me a favor by checking me in and out. Very curt and almost non-verbal. Did not feel very welcome.

Very clean room. Quiet. Shame there wasn't a couple of complimentary water bottles in the room. Food at restaurant was good, not excellent though. $52 twelve ounce prime rib was underwhelming. Don't be fooled by the pictures, this place is not as close to the water as it appears, so I feel there's some deception there. There's no walking to the water (or anywhere) unless you really want a workout because this place is on a steep hill (like just almost every place in St. Thomas). All-in-all, the place and my room was in immaculate condition. Nice, fluffy pillows. Bed wasn't too soft or firm. Easy, free parking. Friendly staff.

The hotel in St Thomas was amazing, beautiful and very clean. The room was very large, love that there were utensils, glasses, dishes a full-size fridge and microwave. The patio is so spacious and cozy, spent a lot of mornings out there. There are two small grocery stores nearby that are great for drinks, ice and other necessities making it very convenient. We rented a vehicle and took the ferry from Red Hook to St John. Be aware of the Ferry schedule so you dont get stranded in St John, Hotels are very steep if renting because you missed the ferry. Trunk Beach is a must to visit, so beautiful. Overall, I give this hotel 5 stars! Wear walking shoes you will need them, lots of steep roads, and stairwells everywhere you go.

This place was a good choice. The room was recently renovated with a well stocked kitchenette. The wifi was solid, which was needed as I work remotely. I was happy with the gym. The hot water was strong. Good view from the balcony. No complaints.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay at Bluebeards. From the doorman to the gentleman at the front desk, they both assisted us with every and anything we needed and were extremely accommodating. We received complimentary room upgrade upon check in and the views were nothing short of spectacular. The bartenders at The castle grill were awesome. Breakfast was soooo good here and well priced, and drinks were pretty good! We had a bite for lunch here as well. The pool was wonderful, however the jacuzzi left a bit to be desired in size and temperature. Our room was well air conditioned and the view from the patio was AMAZING. 4 stars as there is opportunity regarding the thoroughness of housekeeping as the patio, couch and bathroom had remnants of the last people to occupy the space. I do love that there was a working phone, fridge, television and stove for our use. All in all this is an older hotel, placed conveniently near downtown which allows us easy access wherever we must go around town via taxi. Would NOT recommend walking due the extreme inclines of the hill. Taxis were always readily available and were no more than 15 minutes away from the airport. I look forward to staying at Bluebeards again and would definitely recommend for friends and family traveling to St.Thomas.

My 1st time in St Thomas. Was my birthday trip from the momentI step off the plane. I felt the calm vibe and the atmosphere was a plus. A little rainy but it was still an overall great trip. Already planning to visit again next time for a longer stay. The ppl was warm and welcoming. My birthday trip was a blast. Yesss 👌❤️❤️🙏🙏
