The top top location within 20-25 min walk to every important places and attractions. It is right in the district I where you still can find local authentic restaurants and trattorias! If you do not expect too much from an old 3 star hotel and use it only to sleep at - then you will feel the real Rome vibes around!!

We really loved our stay at Hotel Grifo and would highly recommend. Easily walkable to all main attractions whilst still being in a quiet enough area where we weren’t disturbed by noise or big crowds. The hotel is also surrounded by lots of great restaurants making evenings easy. I also cannot fault the staff who were always so friendly whenever we passed through and so keen to help and offer advice/recommendations. Breakfast was great with good coffee, pastries and a couple of hot options too.

Hotel Grifo was very clean, the rooms were comfortable, the hotel is in a fantastic location very close to a lot of the main tourist attractions. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, when we arrived we were given a map and the girl showed us the easiest ways to get to the main tourist spots and recommended restaurants and places to see. I would definitely recommend hotel grifo and would stay there again next visit. ⭐️⭐️⭐️

They staff was amazing. Rooms and bathroom are a little small. The elevator was fit for two. Breakfast was great for the small hotel. The biggest highlight was the staff being out of this world. Hotel Grifo is a gem, tucked in a small side street but within a few minutes walk of many major sites, phenomenal restaurants and an exceptional staff. I asked Alan for recommendations for afternoon outings and for a few particular eating places, none of which disappointed. A pleasant balcony to enjoy the morning was also appreciated. Just remember that this hotel as with many others in Rome, is located in a major urban centre with plenty of vehicular and pedestrian traffic. I’ll be returning to Hotel Grifo in the future.

Staff was super friendly, kind and helpful. Location was very convenient with many great restaurants blocks away. Easy walk to Colliseum. Doable walk to Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Piazza Novona. Wasy taxi ride to Vatican. Room was small and bathroom was extra small but we weren't thwre to stay in the room. It served it’s purpose to give us a good rest. The bed was comfortable and I'm usually very picky about mattress comfort.
