Silver Sands Resort – A Hidden Gem!
I had an incredible stay at Silver Sands Resort. The rooms were immaculately clean—truly some of the cleanest I’ve ever experienced. The staff was absolutely wonderful: friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile.
While the property is older, it’s very well maintained and has a charming, nostalgic feel that adds to its appeal. Everything was in great working order, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing.
I highly recommend Silver Sands Resort to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming place to stay. I’ll definitely be back!

Me and my grand daughter had a stay here for one night. The pool didn't open until 10:00 and check out was at 11:00. I asked if I could get a later check out but staff said stay as long as we like after we check out and use the pool. Bathroom by pool to change before leaving. Excellent!

Sore but great!
There was only 2 things that weren't that great; the beds (old fashioned spring mattress's that were terribly uncomfortable and need an update), and the bathroom layout (the toilet was right inside the door with little to no room.)
Everything else was great; the pool was huge, clean and warm, the service was wonderful and friendly, and you just can't beat the views and convenience of the resort.
Overall great stay, just not that comfy. (But i do believe they are now starting to update the beds).

Very confusing on stay and place , thought we had cabin house room. We had tiny lake view room size of motel even smaller labeled as beach house room .The a/c is right next to bed very uncomfortable two nights of sleeping, we even brought our own pillows too. Not like pic shown here when I signed up and reviewed. No kitchen, no microwave, sink leaked, the blame will go on me or 3rd party reasons. Not worth money in my opinion. Area was great everything was in walking distance, the fireworks were just okay. The Silver Sands beach was well kept though!

This is an old motel that has been remodeled. It was clean, quiet and convenient to all things in the area. We did have a couple of issues with our room that we reported to staff the morning after we arrived for our two night stay. The sink was clogged and filled with water quickly and drained very slow. We were told that they had tried to fix it in the past, but felt it must be a bigger issue. The Tv did not work and was not connected to the cable service. We tried to connect it, however we were unable to. After reporting it, no one ever came up to fix it. We also found it strange that there was no microwave in our room. They had one that you could use, however it was outside, around the back of the motel by the pool. We would stay here again because of its convenience and cleanlines, but would check that everything was in good working order before we settled in.
