The staff I saw were nice, room size was lovely. Only minor downsides were the bedding had some tiny stains dotted around it, and the fact the bed was really damp, but I think that was more to do with the sea air rather rhan anything else. Apart from that it was really lovely and very easy to come in and out.

Good location, near to beach and attractions, but slightly off the main road so fairly quiet. A basic room, however spacious and very clean. The extra addition of a fridge and fan which I was not expecting was appreciated. Due to online check-in, I did not have much to do with staff, however those I saw in passing were friendly and polite.

There were no staff on duty, it was a self check-in and out, but that all went smoothly. It's an old property, but well-maintained. It's quite a climb up all the stairs if you're allocated a room on the third floor but it wasn't an issue for me. I had one of the ensuite rooms and the bathroom was in good condition. Comfortable bed. Tea & coffee making facility in room was a bonus.

We had a fantastic stay at Central Wave. From the moment I arrived, the check in process was well explained and organised, and the communication from the team was clear and helpful throughout. The property despite being a Victorian building is clean and well maintained with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The room was spotless, the bed was really comfortable, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and welcoming. The location is also a big plus. Very convenient for getting around Brighton while still feeling quiet at night. Overall, great value for money and a really enjoyable stay. I would definitely recommend Central Wave and would happily stay again in the future.

Unless you have internet, trying to get into the place is terrible. I arrived early and was banging on locked door until a guest let us in. Probably about 12-1 pm. I just wants to leave my suitcase . Nobody on reception and no idea of what to do next. Cleaner didn’t have any idea of my room number or anything. Went away and came back at 2.15. Again banging on door until receptionist arrived at 2.30 My mail had gone to spam and that was the info I needed. The next few days of my visit receptionist was there and very nice. One needs to be notified that to watch your email or spam as this was how to access the hotel. Very central and a nice area to be in.

A spacious room with lively big bay windows looking out to the sea and pier. The en-suite was small but perfectly functional. The shower was powerful, easy to adjust and with lashings if hot water. Overall, given the perfect location, excellent value for money. We would return to a sea view room at Central Wave.

Our stay at this property, was a bit poor. The room was fairly clean, the pillowcase on one side of the bed was marked a bit yellowy, the bed looked comfortable, but when actually laid on it, it was very hard could not sleep and the other rooms were very noisy. Kept hearing people walking about late at night. We left at 5.30am on Wednesday morning.

Room was small and basic and at the back of the building. Net curtain didn’t fit the window, windows looked unsafe and unsecure. Bed was a small double when a double was advertised. Bed base and headboard had seen better days. Towels were thin and small, overall nothing like the photos on the website. We left and spent considerable money to stay elsewhere, owners didn’t provide a refund full or otherwise
