This was a great resort for our family to have a break from busy Rome and the heat! Breakfast spectacular every day we loved the food and service they really went above and beyond. I would book a larger suite next time because there were 4 of us (2 adults 2 kids). Everything was wonderful.

2nd stay at Gran Melia it’s a beautiful hotel, stunning swimming pool area, the staff are fantastic, hotel suites are very comfortable and well designed.
There are a couple of things that I personally would like to see changed.
Welcome drinks on arrival to the hotel. When it’s 38° outside and guests have travelled all day, the hotel should at least offer water on arrival.
Breakfast - it’s disappointing for a luxury hotel that guests should be expected to pay extra for breakfast items like eggs to be made
Overall
I would 100% recommend Villa Grand Melia and would love to return for a 3rd time

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Agrippina for a week before Easter. The hotel is beautiful, well located for accessing Rome’s key districts and has views of St Peter’s Basilica which is pretty special.
A special mention for Emma and Eleanora in the concierge team who were super helpful and wonderful with our two boys.
We had a brilliant stay and will be back again, thank you!

The Internet strength and quality was really bad. I think that the hotel should upgrade to mesh 6 or increase the bandwidth to accommodate everyone. The hotel is not that big for the wifi to be so poor. I think there needs to be more restrictions on children in the food area. I watched a kid sneeze eye in an unprotected food area.
