After a slightly turbulent check-in process, which was fixed quickly and nicely by the Mint Customer Service folks, I arrived to find a brand new, sparkling clean, Studio apartment in a great location in downtown Tampa. Super comfortable, excellent amenities including a nicer kitchen than my own home, complete with washer and dryer and a balcony overlooking downtown. All of this at roughly 30% less per night than any of the local hotels I normally stay in. Highly recommended if you're staying for more than one night. It makes it so much more enjoyable!

Room was good but noisy re highway right outside 4 th floor. Also after check in saw all th very high charges they say they could charge for pots missing and the little plastic parking sign going missing hundreds of dollars for a cheap item. Won’t be back etc which

Overall, this is not a traditional “hotel” style stay. The check-in process is completely digital, involving codes and access numbers. This caused an issue when we were checking in and our unit was not ready as it was still being cleaned, even though we arrived well after our assigned check in. Fortunately, the on site staff responded quickly, however they were not pleased. The room was immaculate and had a full kitchen complete with all the necessities. The bed was very comfortable. There is no onsite parking however there are quite a few parking garages and lots a short walking distance. Although, we enjoyed our stay once we were checked in, it just wasn’t what we were expecting.

To be honest, my stay was more of a 4.5 stars. I was in town for the Brandy & Monica concert, and I loved the convenience of walking to the arena from this hotel. I was by myself, but never felt unsafe. The room was very comfortable and it was easy to make myself at home. I loved that there was a kitchen with actual appliances. The bed was very easy to control but it is a little tall and I found myself having to climb in and out of it.
What I would appreciate is more detailed information about getting into the building and parking procedures. I think pictures should be provided when check-in instructions are sent so that guests know exactly which entrance to use and where to enter the code. I didn't know where to find the parking pass in the room and the instructions for the parking lot were on a piece of paper in the room. Receiving all of these instructions 2 hours before check-in would be ideal - not 1 hour. Also, I had no idea where to drop off the parking pass because the instructions were confusing. There is a door into the lobby from the parking garage for residents and that is where the drop off is. This box is hardly visible from the street.
Overall though, I would definitely stay again.

The room was clean during my arrival. But the lock on the door was malfunctioning and I had to change rooms. It was resolved immediately, thankfully. The second room had hair in the shower and someone’s contact lens on the bathroom door.
