"Bus stop right out front and convenient to the ropeway stop. Beat the crowds and go clockwise (ship, ropeway, then cable car). Black eggs stop worth it. Need cash if not using the H or K buses. Hakone pass was worth it as it covered the ferry, ropeway, cable car and H and K busses. The private onsen was really good after a day out. You book it for an hour and is included in your booking. Room #1 has its own shower, others use the onsen showers."

"LOVED our stay here! Initially when we were looking into booking, we thought it was expensive but figured... Why not, it's our honeymoon and who knows if we'll ever get another opportunity to book something like this. Honestly... Worth every penny!! We booked the room with the private onsen and it was wonderful. The onsen itself was really nice to have after all the walking we did. We also had our breakfast and dinner included and it was delicious! Would recommend this place to others and would definitely come back! Staff was also so friendly and accommodating!"

Fast and friendly service. Used the shuttle service to and from station. Make sure you book your time before checkout, slots get filled up. "This was the third hotel we had stayed in on the first leg of our Japan trip. First, check-in was very simple and the staff was courteous. Second, the room was surprisingly large and everything was clean and fresh. Third, the best part of the room was there was two twin beds and they were very comfortable. I don't understand why Japan hotels have ridiculously hard beds and pillows; very poor sleep. At the previous hotel I had to purchase a new and very nice pillow that I used for the rest of the trip. My wife and I slept very well. Our son/wife were in another room and they also experienced a nice sleep. Fourth, the shower was so great. I wish America had shower stalls like that. Fifth, the hotel provided coffee, tea, hot miso soup packs, cellphone cords for every type and a very nice comfortable lounge on the first floor. No breakfast but restaurants close by. Sixth; The hotel had individual packs of coffee bags (red and blue) and a hot water station on the floor and a kettle in the room. By far the best tasting coffee in Japan. My apologies but I raided the coffee and stashed in my bag. My wife and I enjoyed that coffee at the other 4 hotels we stayed. None of them had good coffee. Seventh, It poured rain on our second day but the hotel had complimentary umbrellas. Nice :) Eighth, The hotel is next door to the train station but you can't hear any noise. Ninth, did I mention that the bed was extremely comfortable and the coffee was oishii. Tenth, will go back again"
