The room was comfortable and clean and convenient to cafes and groceries. From here, we walked the entire city! Our only issue was the bathroom being separated and locked away from the bedroom, Though I can see it is difficult to resolve with the layout. :)

Maravilloso, Salvatore fue un anfitrion muy bueno, nos dio consejos de como aprovechar nuestra estadia, un mapa y una carpeta con referencia de calles, restaurantes y medios de transporte,respetando siempre nuestra intimidad.

SOGGIORNO DA DIMENTICARE.

Il soggiorno è stato pessimo, mirato solo a fregare i soldi. La camera vecchia e buia. Tutto l'arredamento era vecchio, il bagno piccolo, il lavandino troppo piccolo che non consentiva lavarsi la faccia bene, la doccia strettissima. Gente che faceva rumore e urlava a qualsiasi ora. Le lenzuola e le tovaglie sono state cambiate al quarto giorno di soggiorno, dopo che noi abbiamo reclamato con la donna delle pulizie e la colazione promessa senza macchinetta del caffè e nemmeno qualcosa da mangiare. Un bel soggiorno da non consigliare a nessuno.

Easy to walk to Vatican

You receive a key to street door and 4th floor door and your room. there is a solid working elevator for luggage and quick trips up and down to street. Owner meets you there at check in and check out so verify arrival time but he only lives a few blocks away. Maid service daily to clean. Sheets and towels only changed 2x a week. You are free to come and go as you please. He has a binder with a list of everything you will need information in each room, how many business is from meters from the Hotel, addresses and phone numbers from restaurants, bars, Laundromats, transportations, etc.. what to see and do in Rome everything you will need which is nice. Nice place for a Vatican or Museum visit as within 15 minutes walk plus a few blocks from metro station to see rest of Rome. One of Rome's few organic grocers is litterly next door and each room has a frig, with central use of a coffee maker, tea pot and micro. Only major downside was thin walls from other rooms but most are quiet and don't expect privacy for couples. street noise and beggars in front of grocery (which is all of Rome) and hustlers on street in am are loud and annoying if you want to sleep in. as windows are old and drapes sheer, so If you get up early no problem. A clean room with private bath at a good price if you are traveling on a budget. Stayed in hotels on both sides of river, east side of river has the majority of sites more touristy and Basilicas and a younger hipper vibe. West side is more business.

Hospedaje confortable muy cerca del Vaticano

Los dueños fueron sumamente atentos. Esruvieron pendientes de nuestra llegada y coordinaron que alguien nos recogiera en el aeropuerto. La habitación sumamente cómoda, y el baño muy limpio y moderno. Escogimos este hospedaje por estar ubicado a pocas cuadras del Vaticano, y por ofrecer un precio módico. Los dueños tuvieron un hermoso gesto de despedida, sorprendiéndonos con un rico vino espumante.

Pulizia, cortesia e posizione ottima.

Abbiamo passato tre giorni a capodanno. Quartiere tranquillo, servito dai mezzi e a due passi da S.Pietro. La camera non era molto grande, ma accogliente e pulitissima. Wifi gratuito e veloce. La sera dell'ultimo dell'anno i proprietari ci hanno fatto trovare in camera un bottiglia di spumante. Davvero gentili!! Ci torneremo!

Long weekend away for my birthday. Paola and Salvatore were very accommodating. Communication before we arrived was great and were there to meet us when we arrived. They explained all the things to do and how to get about making our trip easier & provide you with a helpful book of places to go. They were also on hand if we needed anything. The room is exactly what you need for a weekend trip, has all the basics. Was in a building with private apartments. Was clean and tidy. I cannot fault them and would definitely go back again and recommend to friends. As they noticed it was my birthday on my passport when checking in they even left a bottle of wine as a gift in my room. Very thoughtful!

Our stay in Rome

Salvatore and Paola were the most gracious and accommodating hosts.....available 24/7. The room was not what you would call a luxury room but it was very clean and comfortable. The location was awesome - walking distance from all sites and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Don't look anywhere else! Stay here! I have traveled all over the world and use a variety of booking sites and tools. This guest house is perfect if you are looking for: spacious and clean room, fantastic hosts who are willing to help with anything you need, great location close to the Vatican, walking distance to the metro, close to many great local cafes, restaurants, and shops. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The breakfast that we paid a few euros extra for was served at a lovely little cafe about a block away. After the second day, they knew exactly what type of coffee we wanted and were so accommodating even with the language issue. We loved staying a place where we had a ready choice to either go to a touristy restaurant or a local restaurant. We always preferred the local restaurants which the hosts provided a list of in a wonderful welcome binder providing lots of helpful details. Beautiful place and beautiful memories of Rome with my daughter.

Nice guesthouse in perfect location

We had wonderful days in this guesthouse. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. We had the room with a seperate bathroom, but thats no problem. You have it for your own (you can lock it) and it´s just one step from your room door. We did not meet the other guests very often, it was quiet and you felt like having a flat for your own, although it was fully booked. We didn´t expect a lot of service for that prize, but service is great and the people from guesthouse (thanks Yulia and Salvatore) were very kind, friendly and helpful. In addition guesthouse is located very well. It s a nice area of Rome where you can find many Restaurants and bakeries. you need 10 minutes for a walk to Vaticano. Metro is less than 5 minutes away. Localização excelente, próxima do centro de Roma. Sr. Salvatore muito atencioso e receptivo durante nossa estadia. Não havia ar condicionado no quarto, ainda bem que estava na primavera. Colchões não eram confortáveis. No primeiro dia, havia muito ruído de crianças no quarto ao lado, após às 22h00. Não havia shampoo e sabonete no banheiro.

we absolutely loved this place! We booked it based on all the positive reviews here and we had the best time. The rates are very affordable and location is great. This guesthouse is on the 4th floor and has 5 rooms. There is an elevator so pretty convenient. Nice and quiet place (I think we were the noisiest guests there lol) We stayed at the "Enzo" room..a very spacious room with a double bed, private bathroom and shower, free wifi, fridge, and TV, daily housekeeping, blowdryer in the bathroom, nice view from the window, free coffee/tea and microwave in the hallway. Super friendly staff. Salvatore answered all our questions, gave us a map and a book with information on where to go, what to see, and what not. 5 minute walk to Metro, 5 minute walk to McDonalds, 10 minute walk to the Vatican. Nice and safe neighborhood with a lot of pizzerias and bakeries around. We would definitely recommend it!

Great and relaxing

Walking distance to Vatican, and very easy to get to with metro from Termini. Nice and quiet area with supermarket and a 24/7 bakery around. The staff, Simona, was very friendly and informative, she helped us a lot to plan what to see in Rome in a short 3 days trip ( you need more than 3 days for Rome and Venice) The room was very clean and big, felt like my own home, it was so comfortable that we didnt want to go outside the first day. With big window so u get plenty of light and cool air. It is a fantastic place to stay and very affordable, I will definitely go back if i return to Rome.

Rome is a fascinating city, really enjoyed our stay at the Cielo Vaticano.. Salvatore was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction for sightseeing and restuarants. Quiet location which was ideal after the hustle and bustle of the City. Would recommend a visit to Rome you definitely need more than a week to see all the sights.

The place to stay in Rome when on a budget.

Cielo Vaticano Guest House is within 15 minutes of the Vatican. The staff were friendly and helpful. The place was clean, and there is a small fridge in the room. They even let us store our luggage while we were out on a tour, and we were taking the train later in the afternoon. I would personnelly recommend the Cielo Vaticano Guest House, while in Rome.
