Decent stay, solo traveling Munich
Not a bad place to stay in Munich. Right downtown so easy access to a lot of food and restaurants and the train station. The windows in the room were a little funky and I think most were broken or off their hinges so that was odd. Also they had a random fan in the room which was nice but I assume because the air wasnt working.

Rooms are very small. Modern decorations wasted space with angled walls. Shower drain was clogged which the cleaning crew had to have noticed when they cleaned the shower. It eventually broke free.

Property location was good. Breakfast was very good. no HVAC, there was only a standup fan in the room and the window only cracked a bit. No amenities, no ice,. Front desk staff was a bit standoffish. I don’t feel they were customer oriented overheard them say they didn’t know how much it cost for a cab to the airport, but never offered to find out. A very common destination

10 min walk to Oktoberfest,12 min walk to Marienplatz and from Central Station which was most important to us. Nice breakfast and breakfast staff were helpful with recommendations and answering questions about the city. Bathroom was tiny, about the size of cruise ship bathroom. Everything was clean and was great for our purposes in the city.

LOCATION: You can walk from the train station to the hotel. A short walk to old town and also the Octoberfest grounds. The area has lots of road work occuring. Its fairly busy on the side walks and streets. STAFF: Check in was quick and easy. Staff were helpful. ROOM: Was clean and spacious enough for a short 2-3 day trip. Room was also very quiet as it was on the inside.

We stayed here for Oktoberfest and location wise it’s great. Walkable to the site as well as the central station and other transportation and sightseeing options. The rooms are pretty small but if you just have small bags, you’ll be fine. Room was quite warm though and as we faced the road, keeping the window open was not an option as road outside can be extremely noisy with outside dining and shops outside as well as people walking through after Oktoberfest. There was some late night music playing too but not sure where this came from. Expensive for what it was but event will drive prices up at this time of year.
