Overall experience was good. The hotel is on the very busy street and there is no premises beside hotel. We had a room on the side of the street first day. It was super noisy and we couldn’t sleep; next day, we requested a different room on the other side; it was very nice.

Poor 2.0
Do not waste your money.
I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Room was so dirty that I didn’t even wanna be in it. Curtains had stains, carpet had stains, bedsheets had stains. They told us they upgraded us from one queen bed to two queen beds even though we are a couple? So like what kind of an upgrade that is for a couple. Also, falls are paper thin and the guests next door to us had a dog. So you can imagine. On top of that we could hear people from upstairs room, and the hotel’s windows are the worst you can hear people walking outside. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. Also breakfast included means one apple, one apple strudel, and one yogurt in a bag. So don’t book for breakfast. I didnt even bother going down after our first morning

Awesome value!
This hotel was pleasantly surprising for the price that we paid. We were very impressed with how comfortable the bed was and how clean the lobby and common areas were. I would recommend splurging and getting yourself a king! The location was great and near many amenities, yet not too far from a Commercial Drive and downtown Vancouver.

Not for families
I stayed only one day, and I wanted to leave as soon as possible. This is not suitable for the family who has a young baby. Very old and don't expect the balcony.

The room is okay, although it wss designated a non-smoking room, it smelt like it previously was . The elevators are card assess controlled which can be a problem if you forget your card in your room or lose it. The continental breakfast is atrocious.

I actually really liked this hotel, it was a tremendous value for the price. Beds were comfortable and the shower and tv were great. The only issue for me was that the rooms facing out onto East Hastings are noisy as it's a high traffic road. I did move into another room that was much quieter. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and there are many food options within a short walking distance. Overall an excellent stay.
