We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was very convenient for walking to multiple sites. We were able to walk to some, would have been able to walk to others If not for the extreme heat. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. The morning breakfast was delicious and had a great variety. The air-conditioning was working, but just didn't always seem to be able to work at capacity. Again, this is probably due to all the hot weather. There were lots of friendly, welcoming touches throughout property, including the separate lounge area, the patio, and having water and rotating gummy candies in the lobby. They also had umbrellas available for a nominal rental fee, which I thought was a nice touch.

Nice stay at a small and generally friendly hotel. Pros: Nice bedroom, clean, easy check-in, helpful staff, small but adequate gym, good location close to lots of restaurants and bars. Cons (not major): lots of street noise (try for a courtyard-facing room), aircon switched off (City ordinance at this time of year). The public areas have a retro vibe but are well looked-after, elevator is a bit slow. But these are small points - I'd come back for sure!
