It was out of the way of the main downtown areas (squarely in between Monterey and Santa Cruz), but still close enough to drive to either in 20 or so minutes. Perfect if you want to experience the bustling cities without all the clutter. There was even a cinema next door if you just wanted to catch a movie to decompress. The rooms were clean and the staff very kind.

I was expecting much worse for a motel but it was actually pretty decent. The only problem I had was the toilet seat was broken and no one ever came to fix it and I was there for four days.

Wish I could give negative stars
Honestly I would give it zero stars. The girl at the front desk had so much attitude and was so rude. She denied to let me talk to a manager after she told me she had rented out the room I had reserved and started to heat a lunch for someone else. Then when we finally got a room that wasn’t the one we reserved it was so gross as if it wasn’t cleaned and on the last day there we seen two cockroaches. The first night we were up until 1am because the people above us were having a party and kept screaming and scaring my 4 month old awake. The second night people were having really loud sex until 2am and slamming things down when they finished. Overall the worse stay ive ever had.

Clean, close to Santa Cruz & beaches on a budget!
Great budget friendly hotel, semi-close to the beach. Was greeted by friendly front desk, got a nice clean room. Room smelled disinfected, lol, kinda harsh, but we got used to it. Air was nice and cold. Check out was quick! Would stay again! Recommend for budget families coming home from Santa Cruz! Just perfect for sleeping and heading to the beach the next day!
