Loud music in the wee hours
After we had booked, CitiClub sent us an email which said, amongst other things "Nightclub is open on Friday & Saturday nights as well as Public Holiday Eve’s. Rooms will be affected by elevated noise levels. No refunds or changes available." The noise started at 4pm on Saturday afternoon and went until 5am Sunday morning. I fell asleep sometime late Saturday night. I was awakened at 13:17 on Sunday by loud drum rolls (or electronic version thereof) which seemed to go on until around 2am. I was expecting the nightclub to then close. However, the music was then louder and very repetitive until 5am. I guess it was computer generated which explains why it could be so bad and so loud for so long.

Don't stay on a Saturday night. There is a night club next door that goes till 4am. Reception gave us ear plugs when we checked in, but they did little to dampen the noise and vibration of the loud music.

The hotel is next to a night club. It is not indicated anywhere. The music goes on until 4am. We had to leave at 1am to another hotel. Unacceptable. Would not recommended.

Do not stay here on a Saturday night if you want to sleep. The night club inside the building blasts the music obscenely loud all throughout the night and into the morning. The music did NOT stop until 5am. I left feeling very sick from only 3 hours of sleep. Was very unpleasant. The staff and reception were all pleasant and the hotel itself was clean and good amenities.

It is a lovely hotel BUT I stayed a Friday night and the nightclub next to it was playing extremely loud music from 10pm to 5am. So loud you could hear on the 4th floor with noise cancelling headphones. Apart from that it is a clean and nice hotel in a good location
