Excellent all around
Stay here! I was so spoiled by the wonderful staff. I was worried when I was dropped at what appeared to be an office building but there is a directory and a buzzer that phoned the front desk. From there check in was smooth and pleasant. The room was Italian Modern and everything was top quality. I opted for the balcony view of the river and on the cold nights the 2 double paned doors kept out the chill and the noise. One drawback is no heat control in the room but the staff was on it as soon as I phoned. Breakfast was prepared and delivered every day by a charming staff member - a great start to the day. Bed was very comfortable, shower had plenty of hot. Location is good, close to so many sights, and food options are a short walk. I really enjoyed my stay and would gladly return

Very Good
Great location for soft seeing in Rome. Our room was too close to reception which was a little invasive. It was a lovely room though. WiFi was intermittent which was disappointing. Staff helpful and friendly. Would recommend this place to stay just check the room you have.

This property was a different experience top what we are used to. It's more like having your own apartment rather then a hotel room. Complete privacy. We always try to have a balcony whenever we are on the go. The road below the balcony was rather crazy and loud but once we closed the double doors we did not hear anything. With the power black-out shades, we couldn't tell if the sun ever came up. Didn't set an alarm one night and ended up sleeping in until almost noon one morning. We enjoyed the beautiful view of the river and city. The room was spectacular. Bed was comfy. You check in at one building and go to the building next door to your room. The host brought us to our room and showed us everything we needed to know. Really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. She gave us information and directions to the sites nearby which all of which were within walking distance. Have to say one of the best locations in Rome. Breakfast buffet was as expected for a breakfast buffet. I would give it an above average. But, on our last morning there, breakfast was brought to our room, it was absolutely delicious. If we ever make it to Rome again, I will stay at this property again. Of the 7 properties we stayed at during our 21 day European vacation, this was my favorite.

Kudos to Augustana
A+ staff, from the hard working lady owner from Brazil to all the front desk and the lovely Russian lady who helped serve the excellent breakfast. with scrambled eggs to order and fresh fruit and juice, the breakfast was a step up from that expected in a very small intimate hotel. kudos to Augustana

Quiet location, clean, pleasant and modern surrounds. Breakfast is not luxurious but enough. The staff especially is very helpful and so friendly. Got lots of advice and tips. One of the better small hotels in Rome for a very reasonable price. Location is good as well- walkable distance to pantheon, coliseum and vatican. My only issue was that I had trouble finding it and walked past it a few times until a lovely roman lady helped me.
