Very Relaxing and enjoyable stay
We were excited to visit Canada for the first time. When contacting the property I found out that you need to take a Ferry to reach there. There was Ferry delays and after several calls with the property they were able to let me and my wife in after check out hours which I’m very grateful for

Repair Ripoff
My team goes to the Gibsons bonspiel every year abd have stayed at the Cedar several times. We've always had a pleasant stay. This time however while we were sitting on a bed, one of the legs collapsed. It turns out that put a hole 4"x3" hole in the wall. They are charging my $250 plus tax to fix something that is thier furnishings fault. WE WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!!

Booked the room and received confirmation email. Drove to the BC Ferries terminal and was about to pay the fee, but checked with Expedia... the transaction had been declined and room canceled! No notification at all. Room was not available from the beginning but was not informed.

THE STAFF ACCOMADATED US EVEN THOUGH WE WERE EARLY. TIMMY'S BREAKFAST CHOICES WERE UNEXPECTED AND GREAT! VENDING MACHINES WERE ALL EMPTY. ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN. OUTSIDE AREA WAS COVERED WITH DEBRIS AND LITTER, PROBABLY FROM A HEAVY WIND THE DAY BEFORE. SIGN WAS BARELY HANGING ON.
