Very convenient to the Mayo Clinic. Free parking and a foot subway access to the various buildings of the clinic. We stayed during the cover virus restrictions so could not comment on breakfast. We will stay here again if I need to return to Mayo.

Poor 2.0
Over priced, run down and not worth it!
Air conditioning in the room is so high up I had to stand on the bed to use it. The air conditioning was in the wall over the bed. It was so loud it made sleeping difficult. My blanket on the bed appeared very old, dirty and had a large hole in it. There was a large gap under my door making hallway noise loud. The staff were eating meals behind the desk and were less than friendly. The only positive is the hotel connected to Mayo and parking is free.

The older gentleman that worked in the evenings did not wear a mask. Made us uncomfortable during this pandemic. Cleaning people were very nice.

Dated but very adequate
A bit dated but clean. Staff let me get a little later checkout in case my Mayo appointment ran later. Elevator system is a bit funky. Motel is connected underground to Mayo. This is not a fancy motel with a lot of amenities, but perfect if you just need a place to sleep. Free parking is a big plus.

Convenience to Mayo a real draw at the price
My husband had a full day of tests and appointments at Mayo Clinic. The subway linking Brentwood and all of the Mayo Clinic main campus buildings was so wonderful. It was warm and a short walk. Also, allowing us to leave our car parked in your parking lot until we were done at Mayo was a great convenience and very much appreciated. The shower was great, the room was comfortable without much adjustment to the climate control. The bathroom sink drained too slowly for me but my husband didn’t have as much trouble. The queen bed was les firm than we prefer, as we felt the motion every time either one of us moved. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and the convenience to Mayo at a reasonable price will likely bring us back for our future appointments.

Exceptional 10.0
The most thoughtful, helpful service ever!
If you are looking at this hotel because you are going to the Mayo Clinic, I cannot imagine you will find a better option. The hotel policies and helpfulness of the staff here are geared toward Mayo patients. In no particular order: 1. The hotel is connected to the subway underground walking system. We left our coats in our rooms and walked to our appointments. 2. Parking is free, and we never had trouble finding a place. 3. Check out is at noon, but the hotel welcomes you to leave your car until your appointments are over at the end of the day. They are thoughtful enough to give you a key card that will operate the elevator that you need to take to come up from the subway level. 4. Truly helpful, kind staff. 5. You could survive for quite a while here with take-out food, and the refrigerator and microwave in the room. 6. The hotel recognizes that many of their guests are patients at Mayo, So the hallways and elevator areas have comfortable seating, andwheelchairs maybe left in the hallways. The entire property is definitely clean and well maintained, but although it is not a luxury hotel. Still, I would not have traded it for anything else.

Great Value & Location
The Brentwood is a great value with an excellent location connected to the Mayo complex by the subway system. The people are friendly and accommodations clean and as would be expected. My only problem is that the sink/mirror area was open to the rest of the room and not in the shower toilet area. I find this in many other hotels too but would just prefer it be more closed off. There are probably other rooms in the hotel that are configured differently. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Basic replacement needed
Handy to Mayo clinic but that was it's best selling point. Beds were terrible. Bed linens were quite worn and needed to be replaced.
