Not the best stay
Our cable didn't work and unfortunately there was no one who coils repair it. I found the room to be mediocrity cleaned. There was a ton of dust and dirt under the bed and as well on the baseboards and the bathroom door and the only garbage can in the room is in the bathroom. I couldn't see another trash can around to dispose of out dinner garbage :( There is no staff on site between the hours of 6pm and 9am.

Busy road. Very accessible. Quieter than you’d think. Excellent value. Great for dogs. Always nice to have fridge & sink. Simple, quaint, small hotel with just a few rooms. Comfortable and cozy. Repeat customers (us).

For the price and the convenient location it was tolerable. But doors are too thin and can hear everything outside, even people talking in the parking lot. Being on the bottom floor could hear the movement and walking upstairs. So not great insulation between floors. As mentioned it was a bit of a deal cause I needed two rooms so it was tolerable this time.

2/10 Poor

The room had a terrible mold odor. Upon investigation we found black mold coming through the wallpaper behind the bed. This is not just an inconvenience issue.... this is a health issue. There is a serious water leak somewhere in the building. Upon returning home every item of clothing (including the ones inside our suitcases) needed laundering due to the imbedded terrible smell.

Staff lack knowledge of where we were located on the city map. TV remotes were not working - very difficult to understand, had to call technician.

5 mins drive from downtown. Washroom is almost brand new. The King size bed is comfy. Self check in/out is easy. Great experience!

6/10 Good

Although this motel had renovations done some while ago, the rooms still seem small and "cheap". (We stayed here before the change of owners, and renos.) Yes, there are newer fixtures in the bathroom and newer furniture in the bedroom, it didn't feel like a boutique-style motel. The bedroom was over-crowded with furniture, yet felt cold and institutional-like with the cinder block walls. We were on the main level and didn't want to open the patio door for fresh air (it was very, very musty smelling) due to the questionable people lurking around the grounds. The coffee/tea facilities were nice and Ruth at reception was GREAT. She was really friendly and had a wonderful, sunny smile.
