Great downtown location. There is no parking, however, valet only. They are very reaponsive and will pull your car as often as you need should you wish to venture outside of the downtown area.

The cookies and the bed are the best. The bad things were, not enough cups, shower sucked ( only one side opened, so had to go in to turn it on). And only had valet parking.

It was absolutely filthy and old. We paid over $600 for a suite and it was disgusting. We ended up leaving and finding another hotel. The carpet was stained, the mirror was spattered with mystery fluids, the sink was dirty, the tile in the bathroom was filthy, and the underside of the bed was falling off! Not well cleaned at all, and not well maintained. Especially for the price.

Drawers were difficult to open and bathroom door would stick and not open easily. Toilet was low and hard to get up and down for a handicap room. Counter was small and blinds didnt close all the way. Handicap room was long walk from elevator. Was not notified there was a restaurant on property.

Don't be fooled by their great rate! There is a extra charge if you want breakfast and a $10 dollar charge for parking plus if you drink their complementary water in the room there is a $2.00 charge for each bottle. This is by far the most unpleasant Double Tree that I have ever encountered. I would have been better off staying at a hotel next to the expressway since this was merely an overnight stay.

I was in town attending the Wv thespian festival. Upon checking at 9pm after the 1st days festivities, there was no room ready for me and my daughter and had to wait til 1030pm to finally get a room. The condition of the room was "clean enough" to stay but not great. Looked like beds were made and a quick wipe down of the bathroom. It was such a long day i just wanted to go to sleep. Walls are so thin that i was woken up at 2 am to the room next to me singing loudly and had to bang on the wall to get him to stop. The next morning I was with a group getting ready to leave outside the dining room and had to get a wait staff to take care of a roach that was crawling just outside the dining door. Will never stay again. The staff were very nice and personable although my stay was very poor.

People were yelling and screaming and running up and down the halls all night long. Kids were running around banging on doors. It was awful. I texted the front desk and they didn’t respond for over 30 mins. I had to go into the hall and take care of it myself so my daughter could get some sleep. The beds were terrible. The bathroom sink didn’t even have a plug. The water didn’t shut off when you turned it off. Toothpaste or something splashed all over the sink, backsplash, and wallpaper like it’s never been cleaned.
