Learn more about Ogunquit

Wander along Marginal Way, a cliff-hugging path where the Atlantic crashes dramatically against Maine's rocky shore. Ogunquit Beach stretches three miles with sand so soft locals call it 'footsie heaven.' The Ogunquit Playhouse has been staging Broadway-caliber shows since 1933 in a barn-like theatre where Paul Newman once performed. Little Beach hides between granite outcroppings, offering solitude when the main beach fills with summer visitors. At Perkins Cove, watch lobstermen unload their catch before dining on seafood so fresh it practically introduces itself. For the best experience, arrive at Footbridge Beach early with coffee from a local café and watch the morning light transform the coastline.

Meadowmere Resort

8/10 Good
"Patrick, a front desk and "do it all" service professional was super friendly, fun and informative. I hope to see him the next time we stay. Our room was clean and comfortable; I only wish it had a magnifying make-up mirror and a phone line that could connect us to the front desk (that feature wasn't available in the room we stayed in our last go around either). The Roman Spa room had been painted and wooden slat panels installed since our last stay about eighteen months ago; however, the Roman Spa electric panel STILL needs an upgrade so that the spa jets don't continuously flip the breaker preventing the jets from working. I had to hike down to the front desk and ask Patrick to reset the breaker, just as I did each day during my last stay. That remains an inconvenience that should have been addressed more than a year ago. Not good Meadowmere :("
