Close to Colosseum
Rooms were modern and very clean. Only a couple blocks from the Colosseum and metro station. Front desk staff was very accommodating and while there was a small plumbing issue on the floor, they kept us informed at all times. Would definitely stay here again.

Highly recommended
The room was large and the people were very nice. The rooftop has beautiful views but you can't sit up there. You can stand and look or take pictures that's all. At night the Colosseum is magical. You can't really see the colosseum out your window except for a tiny piece. However, it is across the street and I highly recommend this location. Skip the breakfast though. It took forever to find the door. Ask for a picture of the door and surrounding of the door.

If you like to stay in a Bed & Breakfast (without breakfast on premises as you can purchase a coupon to eat in a cafe round the corner) it could be your place. THIS IS NOT A HOTEL, but a ex-private apartment in a residential block of flats. You arrive at a wooden door with 20+ private letter boxes visible at the darkish hall. You then squeeze into the smallest lift, which an estate agent would call cosy. On your trip to the 4th floor you overlook not very pleasant looking court yard. A final white door opens into a small hall with a small desk. As the desk is only occupied between 9 am and 4.30 on a weekend you been asked to leave your luggage and come back when the room is ready. The room was clean and bright with a good size bathroom. We booked a room with a view of the coliseum, but had to lean out of the window to see a small part of it . Now, the best part: THE ROOFTOP TERRASSE: You climb up to the top and faced with an old iron door. When you open the door you are faced with cables, generators and a most untidy place, which I compare with a BUILDING SITE. But it has some flower pots in some corners. Now, if this B&B is worth the £ 560 Pound Sterling we paid for 3 nights, well you make your own judgement. To summarise : We thought we booked a 4 star (or there about) but got a B&B. As I explained to hotels.com, if I wanted a B& B I would have booked a B&B at airb&b. To say we were disappointing is an understatement.

Almost perfect
It was beautiful. But the bed was more of a futon and the bathroom smelled like urine. However, their service was exceptional and went above and beyond!
