Jul 4, 2026You get “fresh” sheets. I could swear there was like mold on my linens (little black specks). So I took my blanket and laid it down as my linen. Bunks are very squeaky. Bathroom doors have no locks, shower heads are like clogged. The plumbing in the shower was all backed up. They did come in everyday to clean the bathroom but that was just a sweep and replacing sheets for those who checked out. Lockers are small and hinges are questionable. They don’t provide locks, they don’t provide laundry detergent for their laundry. They provide breakfast but I think you have to pay for it (I never ate breakfast there). I don’t know about the day staff (I was out sightseeing during the day). But the night staff was not really that helpful.
Great location. Everyone said that the best food is in Trastevere. And the metro/bus is about a block from the spot. Take two bus and you’ll arrive at Vatican City, Trevi Fountain, or Colosseum.
As a place to lay your head, it does the job. But quality is lacking.

Had a great time here for a short trip and highly recommend this hostel. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful with a wealth of knowledge on the local area and what to see and do in Rome. The atmosphere was great. The hostel is close to Roma Trastevere station and has trams at its door and bus stops nearby. This will be my home when I next visit Rome.
Rooms are clean and basic. Linen is provided and you will wsnt to bring your own towel and toiletries. The lockers are outside of the room so don't forget a lock Some of the shared rooms offer single beds instead of a double bunk which is brilliant.

This hostel has several issues and the management seems unwilling to do something about them. My room was infested with bed bugs, and I got bites all over my body after staying here. The bathroom/shower was supposed to be private, but was accessible to other guests. There were no clean sheets on the bed, and no curtains for the windows. The air conditioning was leaking water on the floor. On the good side, I had no issues with the staff, and the location was ok.

Apr 29, 2024Close to metro with 24hr check in. Comfortable bed and reception/breakfast area looked nice- but didnt stay long enough to experience. Cash deposit upon arrival unexpected. Arrived late and was brought to room in a building across from street. In the morning went to leave and exited a wrong door in hallway and became completely locked in the building next door- all doors locked to get out and door to get back in also locked. Feared missing my flight. Banged on doors. A lady from a door which opened to a gym on the otherside heard me banging and let me through. Was in a hurry to leave, not sure staff understood the seriousness of what had happened.

Sep 27, 2023I absolutely love the location which was central to most of the tourist attractions, and the local shops. The bed were super confortable, clean and the room were spaces. Thankfully i was in a mix dormitory where the people were very respectful. The staffs were friendly and welcoming and the manager was very helpful and professional.
Cons: Poor communication and update relating to room reservations. Staff failed to email prior to my arrival that I had to change rooms half way during my stay which was a huge inconvenience. Cleanliness: the cleaners needs to reconcile with some nice smelling disinfectant when cleaning the floor bc of old urin smell and old water. The kitchen staffs needs to make available clean dishcloths and tea-towels to their guest due to high traffic of user's.
I would stay there again, but make my own personal adjustments when using the bathroom.

Jul 8, 2026Hostel was clean and quiet and within a 15 minute walk of the main Trastevere area! If you are looking for a very social hostel this isn’t it, but if you’re looking for a quiet, secure place(with AC in the private rooms) near a great area, then it will be a good fit!

Jul 28, 2026Place is not at all what the pictures look like. Lockers are broken and full of trash. No barriers between beds so your feet touch other people when you sleep. Air vent was covered in a thick layer of grime and dust. Wish I could have gotten my money back

Sep 29, 2026The beds were not properly marked, so someone took my bed which was a pain to deal with at the end of the night, and the staff wasn't very helpful. There was almost always one bathroom stall that didn't have toilet paper. The sinks did not drain properly so they were gross and the shower that I showered in also didn't drain. There was trash outside the bathroom on the balcony over the two days I was there, so clearly not getting cleaned properly. And there were no protein options for breakfast. The code the staff gave me to get into the room stopped working in the morning and they gave me other codes that did work in the morning but then didn't work in the evening. Not ideal
