We liked our stay so much. The staff were super patient and nice. They spent time introducing the room, the garden, the library and the bath rooms. Very accommodating and flexible. If you are wondering if the price tag is worth it… it absolutely is. We were incredibly lucky and fortunate to have experienced this beautiful heritage ryokan in the heart of Kyoto. The staff are wonderful, the attention to detail is exquisite, and the pride they put into making your experience perfect is exceptional. Our only regret is that we have to leave.
